I brought my dog in who HATES getting his shots. The vet tech was great with him and so was the doctor. He was very nice and caring and even gave my dog some treats! I recommend Dr. Matar for all your animal needs.

I came across this veterinary clinic while searching for reviews for the clinic I was planning on taking my dog to for surgery.
I'm glad I did the research....I decided to have my dog's surgery done at this clinic instead, because of the great reviews and because almost every review spoke of the cleanliness of the clinic. I have heard many horror stories of staff infections picked up at clinics where cleanliness isn't up to par.
When I called to ask questions and to schedule my Krystle's appointment I was nervous because she's my baby and she needs surgery...but after the phone call I felt very at ease,well informed and I was very impressed with the professionalism and the obvious compassion for animals (and people)that the receptionist had.
Surgery for our fur babies is never easy....but feeling confident that she's going to get the best care (and at a very reasonable price)makes things easier.
If the vet is as great as his staff....and the reviews say he is....I know Krystle will be in the best of hands.

Yesterday evening I brought my dog in for a large lump that ended up being a hernia.
My dog hates being in the car.I drive down from Racine....a 45 minute drive.It was stressful for my dog and for me.
My dog LOVED Dr.Matar.
He was so good with my dog. He talked to him, petted him and gave him treats.
My dog was so relaxed that he sat and looked out the window the whole way home.
I cannot thank this Vet enough.
This Veterinary Hospital has great prices,friendly staff and a competent, compassionate vet.

I simply cannot say enough good things about this veterinarian,his clinic and staff.
He repaired my dog's hernia in February and not only did he do a great job with the repair, he also did a great job with the suturing.
What stands out the most with this clinic is Dr. Matar's professionalism, his love of animals, his dedication to his client's pet's health, the cleanliness of his clinic and the friendliness of his staff.
I drive from Racine to bring my dogs to him.
I came because of the low cost but I stayed because Dr. Matar is the BEST.
I HIGHLY recommend him.

I posted about the appointment where the exam was performed and he was diagnosed with the hernia.....but noticed my testimonial about his surgery after the surgery took place, didn't post.....so I decided to write a new one.
